A great way to get a sudden influx of treatment bookings is to hold an event (last month one of our client's events generated 12 Invisalign cases in one day). For example you may want to do more dental implant cases. Your practice could therefore host a Dental Implants seminar for patients to come and learn more about dental implants. This could take place one evening, or perhaps on a Saturday, so more patients are able to attend. During the event you can explain what dental implants are, and their benefits. Then you can speak to the attendees and arrange a consultation with those that are interested. Result can be improved by offering a special offer that is only available on the day to those people that book a consultation.

A successful events campaign has many elements to help it achieve its primary goal - treatment bookings.

Email campaign

An email campaign is a great way to build your attendee list with minimal effort and cost. Arguably the 'hottest' group of people that you should market the event to are your exisiting patients, as these are the people that already know and trust you. The next group would be all the patient enquiries that did not book an appointment, or who did not proceed with treatment. This group also knows you, and they may now be interested in the treatment.

You can send an email to these patients prior to the event to let them know it is coming up. For example a series of 3 emails can be sent, one 30 days before the event, the next on 14 days before, and the last on 3 days before. The emails can explain what the event is about, talk about any special offers available at the event, and invite the patient to call or email to register for the event.
