To boost your appointment bookings, it’s necessary to align your content with your target audience’s interests. If they are still considering their options, your content must help them make the decision to choose your practice.

Create Deep-Dive Content

At the “consideration” stage they are actively searching for solutions to problems. They are seeking information to help them make a decision. They already know the basics of your practice and will respond to in-depth content, including:
  • FAQs about a treatment or service
  • Step-by-step descriptions of a procedure
  • Blogs that discuss the procedure or product in-depth
  • Patient testimonials about a treatment

Make Them An Offer

At the “conversion” stage, a prospect is ready to make their decision. They have the information they need and are waiting for the right moment to sign up, buy a product, or book an appointment. You can prompt them to take action with:
  • Limited-time discounts and special offers
  • eCommerce links to your online catalog
  • Free trials so they can test a product or service at no cost

Create a Facebook Group

You can allow prospects to join by request or invitation. Then you use the space to learn more about your potential patients and help them find solutions. You could start conversations about issues your patients commonly face, encourage them to ask questions, or provide helpful resources.

Use a Call-to-Action in Your Messaging

It’s important to add the right call-to-action (CTA) in your social media copy. These tell prospects what to do after seeing your content — and help them move toward making an appointment or purchase.

A CTA doesn’t have to be pushy or sound like a sales offer. You can simply ask for a sign-up to a webinar or in-person event. Offer a guide they can download. Or provide a case study. Words like “Sign up today for our free seminar on dental implants” or “Download this free article on dental implants” are very well-accepted.

Use Google Analytics to Optimize Organic Content

Your analytics statistics will provide great insight into what’s working best for your practice/company. Social media analytics can show types of blog posts that prospects are most likely to click. Website analytics can show which channels drive the most traffic and contribute to the most sales or conversions.

Facebook lets you run tests to compare different types of posts to determine what works best for your practice/company. It’s an easy test to run, and will help you develop content outlines. The Post Testing Lab is a great tool that archives results for current and past experiments.

Run Paid Ads

To reach more people and accelerate your results, you will need an advertising budget. Facebook and LinkedIn offer both lead generation and conversion campaigns. Collect contact information from prospects.

Regardless of which social media channel you want to focus on, your practice/business has a range of options to generate leads, appointments and sales — while staying on budget.
